The arid Red Sea is located in the gulf of Iraq.  The coast is dry desert coastline, but the waters are full of vibrant reefs, tropical fish, soft corals, colorful vertibrates and large pelagics.  Because the coastline is desert, there is little to no water run off and visiblity is exceptional.

The best way to visit these remote waters is on a live aboard dive boat.
