After being "scuba " certified at age 15, I've spent many of my earlier years snorkeling La Jolla Cove and diving the kelp beds off of Pt. Loma.  Today I've traded the cooler waters of the California coast for the warmer, clearer waters of the Caribbean and South Pacific.  

 I've traveled to islands in the South Pacific as well as several islands in the Caribbean.   One of my favorite hobbies is underwater photography.  I enjoy taking photos in the shallow reefs so I can get the natural sunlight playing off the sand, corals and fish and then incorporate that light into my paintings.
